I posted this on the Dyckman video thread and I think it's relevant here as well:
The video is interesting because you can spin it a number of ways. Fordham which is a short drive away was torn up and may never recover until big box stores move in. To those who say there's nothing to fukk up in Dyckman, there's nothing to fukk up on Fordham either. Both have their share of sneaker stores, jewelry places and small businesses. Dominicans don't get the benefit of the doubt because of the anti-Blackness which stems back all the way to the Caribbean due to their proximity to Haiti.
EDIT: There's a curfew in NYC that begins at 8. No reason to be on the block if you're not from the neighborhood.

Are they just picking and choosing which "areas" to enforce? Considering I still see them going at protesters.
