It becomes a pissing match because other demographics want to latch onto the black experience when it suites them, while simultaneously trying to prove their superiority over blacks. Gays and Latinos are notorious for this. Latinos will be quick to shyt on blacks, deny us service, call us "mayate" and "negrito" like it's nothing, and yet, want blacks to cosign them when it's time to march in the streets for something. I've seen gays drop the n-bomb and deny blacks service, but then shiver when someone says "faq". I've argued on the site about this before: If you are taking away peope's civil liberties, treating them like shyt, and having a condescending attitude towards them, don't turn around and start crying when a group in more power (aka whites) start doing it to you, and don't look at blacks with the "save me" face

That doesn't mean that blacks and Native Americans weren't treated like shyt by Europeans. (Don't give me that strawman!)
Racism comes in when you have the power to bar people from education, jobs, goods or services. Blacks really can't be racist because blacks don't have any power.
Every group has people who discriminate against other groups though. If aliens landed on Earth tonight they won't give a fukk wht race you are. People shouldn't be proud of what race they are. Pride should be reserved for individual achievement. No one won a contest before they were born and their prize was getting to pick their race.

Honestly most non gangbanging black people I've met have been real cool and nice. I grew up with a big mix of everything so all this racial shyt was new to me as I grew older. No one in my family talked bad about other races really so I didn't even know these divides existed.
I know black people have gotten it worse than everybody and I also know that I have no idea what it's like to be black and don't pretend to. I don't know what kind of shyt Mexicans have said or done to you guys so I guess it could be personal experience. But, I also see you guys making uneducated comments on an entire people because of the actions of few. You guys run with the stereotypes that the media has given to you. The same media that's done worse to you guys but you'll still trust their brainwashing. Is the movement for equal rights of Mexican laborers and legal immigrants the same as the civil rights movement? No, but I think that it should be looked at as "look these people in worse positions than we are fought back, so if they can do it so can we".
