Greenhornet
A God Among Kings
Nobody is wrong here but Blazers dont get past OKC if they keep durant and then keep the melo signing in tact
As an OKC fan, I hated the betrayal of Russ but respected and understood what he did... Lebron started that nervous ring chasing shyt, KD and Lebron practiced every summer together
the way the media used to ride Lebron's dikk and brush off everyone else probably made KD feel some type of way, especially since dude was probably busting Lebron's ass all summer.
When you add in how many people in the league and at home hated Lebron, that probably hyped KD up to say "You know what, fukk it... let's make this nikka pay" Lebron put them in check
and KD went all in with the Checkmate so he could have his name in the lights... was it a bytch move... of course... but the man did what he did to be known as the best player in the world.
He has the chance to keep winning too, so realistically everyone is right here. And if you account for Lebron and Durant not leaving and doing team up shyt, the whole league looks alot different
and certain teams arent as stacked as they are now to take these two down. Its all a big what if at that point. The only way the blazers ever win a championship is if they just get super lucky
and shoot the lights out ... chances are fukking terrible for them. The only thing that's changed is a tighter core from chemistry, and having 4 dynamic centers who all seem to like eachother for now
If you arent in the end of your career its best to just get money on a normal squad... if you're 34+ jump on one of these super teams and ride it out
DURANT and LEBRON are similar to PAC and BIGGIE in that ... their era will be intertwined and will consist of trying to kill eachother by any means.
The next 10 years of the NBA is set up for the same thing now, it makes dynamic stories and crazy combinations. They ruined parts of their careers so that
the future will be more exciting and fast passed.
