People really be reaching acting like going to Miami, four years removed from a title, one year removed from being out of the playoffs completely, and that season a low seed 1st Rd exit, is the same as the move to GS, one year removed from a title and that season a record setting roster with the MVP that lost in G7 of The Finals...

nikkas really reaching acting like those two moves are remotely the same, revisionist history shyt...

I mean im not even mad that KD went to GSW, but when one of these anti-bron dudes bring up that argument, you already know what time it is.

Barnes and Bogut was traded to Dallas to create that cap space chief. Had Barnes stayed we would've still been over the cap because he and Bogut would've still been on the books so we had no way to get better. Acquiring KD was the absolute best move we could've made to getting back to the finals. Bringing back that same squad would've been the wrong move.

From my knowledge the Warriors thought about trying to get KD since 2014 (All smart teams pay attention to the cap rules to take advantage and all dumb teams just have space ) .During the lead up to the 2016 finals it was basically leaked Barnes was getting the max from three or four teams because the cap jump (some people believe he threw the finals seems plausible) then within hours of losing Game 7 Draymond called KD from the parking lot. In the NBA the players can't get fined for tampering so even before then I think they were already linking (How Russ ruined their chances to win probably pushed KD to leave more) talking about on court fit with truly high basketball IQ people then Steph talking to KD sealed it but even further back because KD's contract with Nike ended and he was close to singing a 300 million ten year deal with Under Amor months after the KD7 dropped but then Nike upped it to 330 million into later a lifetime type deal no way Steph and him weren't linking at UA meetings

Idc what he's looked like since then, that's irrelevant. Last time we saw him wit KD he was a consensus Top 5 player.

If you're the alleged "best player in the world" you should be able to win wit another Top 5 player riding shotgun. Stop makin excuses for da nikka not bein able to lead his team to a championship.

These last few years show Westbrook was "a top 5 player" because KD was there dragging that clown along. Now that he is unleashed everyone sees Russ is not top 5 anything.

And KD was not the best player in the world when he was in OKC.

It’s possible but if they lose it’s because they gutted their team to sign KD. Replace KD with a Harrison Barnes level of player and quality bench players instead of the G-leaguers they have now and I would take Golden State.

LOL, having a Harrison Barnes level player is a HUGE reason why they lost to Cleveland. A Harrison Barnes level player is the last thing anyone within 200 miles of Oakland wanted.

Certain players are blessed that we believe so much in their gifts that we expect nothing less than championships and if they don't deliver its disgusting but then to have people not under that pressure talk to these people is gross (Melo don't count he won in College)

Jordan had to win
Shaq had to win
Kobe had to win
Bron had to win
KD had to win
AD has to win
Greek Freak has to win
Embid almost 27 he has to win

They're idiots. They acting as if the league can just "move on" and pretend the Warriors don't start 3 to 5 all-stars in every game.
Move on or keep bytching. Option A. seems like the masculine decision to me. I can't imagine crying for three years over any decision a man made for his career. I didn't even bytch about Trump being elected that long.
