Talented as hell but not quite good enough offensively or a good enough playmaker to be a 1st option on a contender and not good enough defensively to be a great 2nd option.

Doesn't get to the line enough either. If you gonna be an undersized combo guard, you need to be able to get to the line
he’s as good offensively as he can be at his size
Dude scores from everywhere

People gotta stop saying this. Klay can definitely create his own shot. Hell, his fast release, high release point, and height alone allow him to get great shots off even under contests.

Klay may not create space with fancy footwork but he doesn't need to.
he doesnt have the handle, moves and creativity to do it at a consistent level. Yes his height and release allows him to get his shot off whenever, but he isnt a shot creator. he struggles in that role. his best move is the pump fake off a screen

As talented as he is klay cannot finish at the rim
And he definitely can’t create for himself as well as CJ

Klay is not great at creating his shot but he definitely can create space. Watch some games breh:yeshrug:
I will say this, clay plays on a stacked team and often still disappears. One could argue that he still struggles to get shots unless a play is ran for him or a defense breaks down.

Could he create shots consistently if he wasn't on golden state? I say no because he's inconsistent ON golden state. That team hides his flaws imo. Glorified JJ Reddikk. In fact, jj would put up similar numbers offensively if he played for them :wow:

He's like Reggie Miller just a nikka that was born to shoot the ball

I think he can be a solid number 2 or 3 player and that he has even more to his game then he's been able to show in Portland so far even though he's been balling for a few years now.

I don't think so. Not with curry and Durant, he would defer to them but he would be the ultimate 3rd option
Man, Reggie Miller is a billion times more competitive than both them nikkaz. He had Draymond type passion but under control. Think about what I just said, Miller is not and would not be a third Just like how kd wasn't gonna go to golden state to be a 3rd option.
