Black people should go to college, period. If you want to go to an HBCU, go. If you want to go to a "PWI" then go. Going to college is the best decision you can make for your long term financial status. Go to college, major in something concrete (teaching, medical field, business field, engineering, computer science, biology, etc) and make a life for yourself.

And if college is not for you guess what? That's not the end of the story. There are well paying trades jobs you can study for. There are well paying federal jobs out here you can get. Whatever you can do to find success, do it. Lets go black men, we got this.

It’s the money part of it. The good ones don’t really give any money out. Like my ex had like a 30 SAT score and was a 4.0 student with half being at an elite high school and had college credits and only got a partial scholarship

My lil sis graduated 2nd in her class, 3.9 GPA, 32 ACT., 2 sport athlete

None of the HBCUs was throwing a bag at her, unfortunately

So she went BIG 10 on a full ride. Parents were pissed, she would’ve been a 3rd generation HBCU grad

It’s a fascinating documentary by PBS’s Frontline that really delves into the psyche of him and his wife by really detailing their upbringing.

He had a real emotionally damaged development that’s caused him to swing from a black nationalist phase where Malcolm X was his hero all the way to going down as one of the biggest known c00ns in modern history. And some of the main components was his mother’s abandonment, and the fact he was called black and ugly, relentlessly.
