was just thinking shyt like this usually ends up being tax fraud unless he's been declaring it all these years and no one noticed which seems far fetched

:wtf:
If he ain’t put it on his disclosure forms he damn sure ain’t claim it as gift on his taxes

He’s cooked.. it’s just a matter of if an investigation will be opened

One instance is clearly unethical, but 20 years worth? I don’t even know what to say

This one dude paying for all these trips might as well be the most low key powerful man in America with Thomas as his puppet.

Thomas been corrupt. Between this and the situation with his wife.

I don’t think anyone has the courage to go after him in this political climate. And House republicans aren’t taking down their own guy.

It's not just "courage", I'm not sure they have the slightest power to act. There are very few official rules regarding Supreme Court corruption. I think all they could do is impeach him and they clearly don't have the votes for that.

That’s had benefits as well I would imagine?

It's allowed right-wing White people to cement power with population minorities and corporate lobbyists to push agendas without popular support, so no.

Our system has been purposely designed so that where you live and how much money you have matter more than one person, one vote.

Who should regulate the Supreme Court?

Their violations should be brought before a court, just like for any other judge. Either bring it before an Appeals Court or bring it before other members of the Supreme Court. If people feel the Supreme Court is too cosy for some members to make decisions involving other members, then expand it - there are a million good arguments for expansion anyway.
