I had a couple ideas for douglas but the punisher is a good look

I've always felt that Kevin McCarthy looked alot like Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic when I watch the old Invasion Of The Body Snatchers or Twilight Zone eps with him in it.

A young Kim Novak as Sue Richards.

Also Clint Walker (The Dirty Dozen) as Superman. Looks like the part would've been perfect for him too.

Imagine if the MCU had been around in the 1980s. The special effects might not have been there for some of the characters, but I could see some of those movies being crazy.

Anthony Michael Hall as Spider-man (since Peter Parker was a nerd in school)
If they ever did X-men, Michael Biehn as Cyclops would have been dope. IIRC Chris Claremont wanted Bob Hoskins and Angela Bassett to be Wolverine and Storm.
