There's an app that lets you can take high quality pictures while recording HD video on your ipod touch, just by tapping the screen while recording. That feature alone > your old ipod.

Plus facetiming with hot bytches and browsing your favorite websites in retina... I could go on and on... I do all that stuff far more than listening to music.

Playing games on it too? Yeah, far more than listening to music.

Save up ya money and get a 5th generation if you don't already have a 4th.

had ipod video since 2006. still going strong with no issues. it stays hooked up to my car 24/7.

my car was broken into and it was stolen. cops recovered it with my music still intact.


i will never have mp3s on my iphone or use it for music

my 160 gig got jacked around christmas only a few months after i had gotten it cuz my 80 gig was having issues.

Since then been using google play music

Realized I don't really need more than 20k songs. only downside is it needs internet connection, but you can listen offline

The iPod line is in such a strange state right now. I hardly ever see anyone with an iPod nano or shuffle anymore. The iPod Touch does not have enough storage for those with a massive library..and would make sense just to get an iPhone.

The iPod classic is indeed the best model, but I doubt they will continue to make them much longer...has not been updated in ages.
