Pick a Fat Joe single from any album besides Don Cartagena.

New York is running this thread.

I love Jealous One's Envy.

But to answer the question in the OP, I gotta go with Boom off of that Royce the 5'9' Rock City album, Death is Certain is so much better. I was hooked on that song as a kid and my brother got me that album as a surprise. We listened to it in his Jeep, he had a Wrangler before they were poppin in the hood with gold spokes on that bytch :banderas: Anyway, we were so disappointed in what we were hearing that he took me to Best Buy and bought me another album :russ:

I know many heads on here would consider Redman’s Doc’s Da Name a mid album but not me

My pick would be Redman’s Malpractice album and the singles Smash Sumthin’ and Let’s Get Dirty

By this point, Red was on cruise control and the days of him spitting like he had been over really funky and raw beats were over and what we got was a much more calmer emcee but that’s only natural over time

Malpractice is interesting to me now because it was the first Redman album that felt bland and just whatever. But at the same time, it’s the last time he was even spitting like he was there. If you go back and listen to that album and then Red Gone Wild, there’s a difference. So while Malpractice was the first mid or weak Redman, it’s also been the last real “Redman” album to me

Anyway, both the singles still bang in the whip
