Dj Muggs could have been a Hip Hop great, but he gave his best to a dude who sounds "like he has baby nuts."
A dope beat ain't nothing without a dope MC taking it to the next level. I love Dj Muggs style of production, but I absolutely cannot stand "Baby nuts" rap voice, flow and style.

Cypress and WU used to be my favorite groups at one moment. I remeber when we were kids - me and my homie went to buy t-shirts. I bought a WU shirt and he bought a cypress one. Later on me and the other homie bought cassetes. I bought pillage by cappadona and he bought Unreleased and Revamped.
I was bumping heavily all cypress albums prior to Stoned raiders. "temples of boom" and "cypress hill" are their best work (as albums).
I also remebered when I heard real B-real's voice for the first time. It was on the Rage agianst the machine album. It felt so strange, but sounded cool...
DJ Muggs was killing them beats. After he started doing more dub step/electronic type of beats, I stopped checking for him like I used to. He was also mentoring one of the best producers of the younger generation - Alchemist.
Matter of fact, the whole SA collective was dope!

it's either classic or nah and I think we all agree 50 deserves 1 and that's it
doesn't discount that some of his albums other than GRODT deserve more shine

never got into CH. but this thread got me intrigued. so i went to youtube and checked out temples of doom and holy shyt. this album is incredible. every track is fire. dark, grimy boom bap. this is my type of shyt
