Wait, so is Mike's script not being rewritten? There was also something a couple days ago saying Gunn loved Mike's script. I thought it was odd since there was a report of it being trashed or w/e.
Hossein Amini was assigned to a re-write, per The Wrap. Could be trying to work out some of the bigger world inclusions while Mike’s main premise remains.

Never heard of the Actor. Only Mike F. film I have seen seems to be Doctor Sleep and that was fire
Regardless of how interesting this movie could be, making a clayface movie in a new cinematic universe, in this results based era, is an incredibly stupid idea.
Get your big money making IPs in first, then start looking into risks like this film.

I dont think this will be a risk type thing. Horrors are relatively cheap, this will probably cost 50M or under imo. This more than likely meant more as a "quality" type thing, which is why getting someone like Flanagan to write it was top priority. Besides this sorta gives people a lil snack for the DCU batman shyt til w/e get situated on the Elseworlds batman side.
Also Superman/Batman(I know he elseworlds) are the big money IPs. Superman seems to be doing ok, but we'll see. Other stuff lined up and you cant go too hard on big IPs one after the other so quickly when setting the foundation for you universe.
yeah this likely gonna be a Joker type low budget potential huge ROI type thing, and as mentioned horrors don't cost much
