Somebody negged because I dissed Elway...all I have to say is 18tds an 18 ints in a year where his defense was No.1 in scoring..Who do you think was more important?? 10 tds 17 ints as a sesoned veteran in his prime..Pathetic..Elway was a guy lauded for what they felt he shouldve been vs what he actually was..One of the most overrated athletes in American Sports history..

Elway played in an antiquated offensive scheme when he put up those numbers. Dan Reeves' offense was behind the times. Bronco WR Steve Watson called it the Edsel System.

John put up much better numbers in college. In 1993, when Dan Reeves went to the Giants, and Fassel (Elway's college QB coach) came on board, Elway's numbers vastly improved.

The issue with Bradshaw is that he got 4 rings...so if you want to try and discredit him to whatever degree...you got to do that...4 times...and that's pretty difficult to do...

If we are talking about talent at the QB level then it's Rodgers...there just hast never been a QB with his combination of arm strength, accuracy, and IQ

And with that said I don't have Rodgers on the same planet as Montana and Brady...Montana and Brady have their own planet...because they both have elite levels of the things that Rodgers is the outright elite at...BUT...they have so many more super bowl wins and in Brady's case appearances than him...

I just don't even understand how you can make a QB list and 1 and 2 is not Brady and Montana...

Ive said this before that there isnt a GOAT qb in the nfl because too many players have played that position at such a high level to just single one out. But u can easily make a list of qbs without factoring rings. Rings is a team effort. Unless brady or montana or even rodgers is winning SBs with scrubs on offense and defense and truly carrying the team, then rings can easily be tossed out when arguing about the goat.

10 tds 17 picks in his prime...if the offense was so archaic, why did he throw so many picks...
