Literally all of those guys you listed had a much better team/coach than Elway. What does clearly superior mean? How is leading 3 below average teams to super bowls considered inferior?

1.)The mid to late 90's broncos were stacked and Elway was just along for the ride.
2.) Elways coaches had a lot of success without him. Dan reeves went to the Super Bowl with Chris Chandler as his qb and mike Shanahan went to the AFC title game with Jake Plummer at qb. Not exactly HOFs
3.)Clearly superior as in does everything better at the qb position and statistically shyt on him despite playing in the same time and era.
4.) The mid to late 80's AFC was the worst conference in team sports. Those Broncos teams weren't great(underrated defense aside) but neither were the teams they were up against in that conference anyway.

You mean the same AFC back when the Browns were actually elite?

You mean the same AFC where Dan Marino was lighting the league up?

If Elway was along for the ride, what did they do in 1999? That's right, they went 6-10. And, Shanny only won one playoff game after Elway left.

Also, while Reeves led the Falcons to the playoffs in 1998 (and SB 33) and 02, he didn't do that much outside of those years. And, he only had one good year in New York (1993) before being fired in 1997 for Jim Fassel (who took them to the playoffs three times, and took them to a SB in 2000).
