1.) Phase 1: Load Dishwasher and Washing Machine and spray tubs with bathroom cleaners.

Pick up all dirty clothes and put them into the washing machine. Put all dirty dishes in the sink or dish washer. Spray all tubs with strong bathroom cleaner.

While the bathtub is soaking, dishes and clothes are washing, you can do other tasks.

2.) Phase 2: Clearing the area-Pick up all trash and put it in a trash bag. Bottles, wrappers, napkins, receipts, old mail, tissues, paper cups/plates, plastic wear ect.

Put all items on surfaces away into drawers. Nothing should be on the floor or countertops or surfaces. Fold up clean clothes and put them away. Hang up all coats.

3.) Phase 3: The wipe down. Pick a surface cleaner of your choice (I.e. vinegar, all-purpose cleaner, lyesol,) and wipe down ALL SURFACES. Get the cracks where grime lives. Behind the toilet. Wipe em down. For wood furniture, get some lemony Pledge!

wipe down that wood! Make it shine! Get the dust bunnies from the blinds.
4.) Phase 4: Sweep and vaccum!- Sweep out all areas without carpet. Bathrooms and kitchen floors. Then vacuum!

5.) Bathtub should be clean unless it’s really dirty because that cleaner I posted above is STRONG. If you leave it on for 30 mins, it’ll eat away most dirt. You might not even have to scrub. But if you do need to get those rings around the tub,

6.) Put dishes away. Turn on Netflix and fold laundry while binge-watching a show.

7.) Light some incense. Chill. Invite your chicks to the crib to show it off.

YOSH!

Edit: I almost forgot-CHANGE YOUR NASTY ASS SHEETS ONCE A WEEK! Gross!
Damn does this work for restaurants too?

I can't speak for the man, but in general men don't have the same kinda bloodhound-level sense of smell women often have. Beyond that it's just whether we get the habit drilled into us in our upbringing.:manny:

I don't change mine due to smell. I change them because I know I've been sweating, leaving skin flakes/cells etc in my sheets. I change mine once a week. Even if you can't see it, it's stuff there. That's what freaks me out.

Girl now we get to the real gist of the matter.

BUGS. And the possibility of bugs.

That’s a primary motivator for me. I have serious phobias about bugs.

I can spot an ant moving on the wall in the kitchen from the den.:russ:My mom be like, how did you even see that?!:mjlol:

Preaching to the choir, madam. It still mildly unnerves me that people here don't shower twice a day. :manny:

We are literally separated at birth, lmao! I don't like nothing in my house but people. In my mind if I see one bug that means there are a million hiding LOL. A few years ago I had carpet beetles out of nowhere. It was an all out war, I WON! :pachaha:

This whole process should only take 1 hr a week.:yeshrug:

:heh:

If cleaning your crib only takes 1hr a week, u either live in a broom closet or u aint cleaning shyt.

Im the best cleaner on this entire forum (arguably) and it takes at least 5x time that to have a world class level of cleanliness :smugdraper:
