So what? Those assists don't lead to wins. He handles the ball more than just about every other player in the league and he hardly ever shoots.... so it only makes sense that if he's passing it everytime he gets the ball he's gonna get assists. Basic mathematical probability. Nobody's disputing that he isn't a talent passer, one of the best passers in the league, no doubt.... but beyond that he doesn't offer much else. This is why I tried telling you dudes over and over, he shouldn't be compared to players like Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry etc etc.... because he doesn't have the sort of impact on the game.

Well I think that's pretty obvious, since those players try to balance when to pass and when to shoot. Rondo doesn't. He has little awareness of when to shoot/pass, mostly down to the fact that he's limited in that area. If every PG in the league handled the ball and passed as much as Rondo did, they'd have similar numbers.

When has Rondo's style of play ever been conducive to winning? I mean for the last four or so seasons, the Celtics have actually had a better record without him than with him.
