i was entering canada once as a teen and before i got in the car we were playing with a bb gun

i just threw it in the trunk and went on my way. smoked a golden wrap in the car

when I got to the border they smelled the tree, and I pulled over to immigration. They had us on the curb while they searched the car. found the bb gun (with the orange tip) and freaked out. ran up and cuffed us, went crazy, yanked the cords out my amplifier, held us in a cell, searched us , and sent us back across the border

i told them it has an orange tip and the weed is gone

Honestly. It looked like his hands were already in his pocketl/waist area (you know how men do when it's cold) and as he was about to do something(raise his hands, drop the gun) he got clapped.

That shyt happened so fast tho it's really hard to tell. Like I'm pretty sure we all thought it would be bad but that shyt damn near looked planned. Way too fast compared to what I've seen otherwise (cops talking ppl grown men down who have guns)

There is really a divide in america reading these comments. These people are sick.. from facebook to youtube to news sites. They really truly, honestly can't fathom why people are upset about a 12 year old boy being gunned down in cold blood. They literally jump right to.."oh well his parents/ he shouldn't have had a gun/ why was he waving it around" . Completely ignoring the fact that the cops just rolled up and started shooting right away. I realize now that they will always ride for their own. We must do the same. Shorty was pointing the gun earlier in the vid, without that orange tip BB guns look very real and it looks like he was reaching in his waistband. Having said that, he deserved to have the opportunity to drop the weapon and not get shot on site.

I find it incredibly odd that they rolled up on him like that having been told that he had a weapon, and it was more than likely fake. They could've confronted him at a distance and gave him a chance to drop it. These muthafukkers shot him in a split second.

I hope you don't think I was tryna suggest I thought the kid was tryna bauce up on the cops with a toy gun.....

It's quite obvious that if he reached for the gun at that moment, it was to either show the cops it was a toy, or to try to get that shyt off of him (maybe panicking and thinking he'd get in trouble for pointing it around earlier, and still having it on him)

That's also why I described his calm walk up to the car as 'weird'.....if I was him at that age, I'd honestly be as hell upon seeing that car roll up on me. If dude really was shook upon seeing the cops and was trying to ditch the toy, then I can't see him walking up to the car like that....which leads me to believe he was just trying to show them it was a toy

Cop said he told him to drop it 3x before firing. How was that possible when he shot him before he was even out his car?

If you tell a child to "drop the gun," which is not in his hand, then he is going to reach for it to drop the fukkin' gun like you asked.

They didn't claim that they told him to drop the gun.....they claimed they told him to put his hands up (at least according to the article I read)

It's very important to note that, because "drop the gun" implies that they accused him of having the toy gun in his hand from the moment they approached him. The cops are saying that wasn't the case, and that he only pulled the toy gun out after their warning

Having said that, he deserved to have the opportunity to drop the weapon and not get shot on site.

Eh. You are right. That is what the Chief says they said. But it doesn't mean it was actually said. Dead boys can't argue.
And Even if it was said - he was shot before the cop was even out of his car. So he wasn't given time to react to what was said regardless.

The door literally swung open unleashing gun fire.

The cops also said after shooting him and (assuming,) cuffing the dying 12 year old - that they think he's a black male, about 20 years old. These are not the brightest people.
