Anything more and it wouldn't be a good deal. Clint is overrated. If he was some rising star Sac or one of these other teams with space would've thrown the bag at him.

It's 90 mil,he's on a team that maximizes his value and in a good tax situation he's straight.

I'm thinking he should have took the qualifying offer but if he got injured he would have been fukked. So maybe he made the right decision in the long run.

What the hell? :wtf:

Great deal for Houston but Capela gotta talk to his agent

This is a byproduct of no teams having cap space

This is the type of deal minus the incentives that the Wizards wanted to sign Otto Porter too in that 5 year $80-90M area
Same agent as Steven Adams and Rudy Gobert, both got $100m contracts under him.

Capella did the right thing. He's a role player who plays a very important role. Lets say he got a 3 year deal and the team doesn't win. Clint will b one of the first pieces traded and he won't be as valuable in another system.

Capela is good but how good is he when he ain’t playing with 2 top 5 PnR ball handlers. There is a reason no one else offered him that bag.

This was the best deal he was going to get. I dnt see how y’all saying he is gettin robbed.

Because they just lost a handful of their defensive pieces. They robbed him

I still can't comprehend how his agent negotiated this deal :mindblown:

They offered him $85m earlier but he wanted $100m & somehow his agent managed to go backwards. This dude got $1m a year tied up in getting to the WCF which is is largely dependent on an aging CP3 (who somehow always seems to get hurt in the playoffs) staying healthy. Couldn't even get a player option or anything on this shyt.
