I don't think that's the point. I think the point is she was so sure she had it locked up she didn't bother watching the returns. Like a microcosm of how she ran her campaign. Worrying about that 3am call your ass needs to be up for that 8pm call

Biden was referencing her. Instead of counterpointing him with examples of how she not only spoke to those issues but had concrete plans to deal with those issues -- she waves it off as a task Biden was delegated to deal with.
