20-20 hindsight at its finest. Bledsoe always showed talent for LA but he didn't make sense to play on the floor with Paul because he didn't stretch the floor and he committed a lot of dumb ass turnovers and mistakes that were just as bad as turnovers.

For every brilliant game there were plenty more confounding ones.

There always was the possibility he'd be a great player because he was incredibly talented, but he just had no use in LA. They need guys like Dudley and Redikk to be dependable off-ball shooters that don't make mistakes.

Bledsoe is the complete opposite as he's ball dominant, athletic and defensive minded rather than a sharpshooter.

:dead: at Redikk being censored

Weren't they starting Billups before he tore his achilles a few years back? Why would starting Bledsoe be such a stretch?

They were but you're comparing two completely different players regardless of their height similarities. Billups was a smart, "true" point guard who was shooting the ball well.

Bledsoe was/is super athletic combo guard and was totally out of control at times. Billups didn't need the ball in his hands n/h all the time, and Paul could still dominate the ball and play a two man game with Billups.

Bledsoe is not meant to be a complement. You either make him a primary or secondary option or trade him for value.

Height is totally irrelevant here, it's their styles of play not working with one another that was the factor.

It wouldn't have worked CP3 has the ball in his hands 90% of the time he's on the floor. Dragic isn't as ball dominant and he plays the SG role while Bledsoe brings the ball up the floor and runs the plays. Clippers should of gotten more for him though cuz Dudley is a bum. Reddikk and one of the Morris twins or a decent SF from another team would of been better.

No restricted free agent eric bledsoe would of Still got offered a contract the clippers couldn't of matched so instead of losing him for nothing they got JJ redikk and jared dudley out the deal(2 shooters the clippers needed).A lot of you dudes are looking at this in hindsight instead of realistically.Next year griffin, jordan, crawford and pauls salaries alone take up 54.5 mil of the clippers cap.

Actually it was money that was the biggest factor.
