Kobe is not better than Durant. Kobe has been nice this year, much better than expected, but he has also been doing the equivalent of a quarterback racking up yards against a prevent offense when he's down three touchdowns.

If the Lakers were able to trade Pau for a lunchpail power forward and a quick young player that could defend and score off the bench, it might patch some of their weaknesses. I think Lakers fans would quickly realize how much they missed Pau though.

Have you watched the last 3 games? Did you watch the last 2 postseasons? Of course you did, so you know how trash he is.

Pau got his lunch ate by Eddy Curry, a dude that got released a game later.He is absolutely useless on defense and if I see him throw the ball out of the post when he has a smaller player on him one more time!

im not saying all of this is MB fault. but if your a DEFENSIVE coach, i expect you to coach up the players you have.

I under stand our players are older, but its like he has no gameplan to compensate for that.
if your a defensive coach, i expect atleast that.

Duref is a 1 dimensional JUMPSHOOTER who benefited from having 2 elite shot creators on his team. Kobe can play defense (All defensive team) and clearly has way more moves offensively than Duref, and can PASS THE BALL, which Duref can not do.

This season Kobe will have better numbers than Duref, and I don't even like to emphasize numbers but that's the only thing this jumpshot queen had over Kobe.

2 seven footers are useless in todays NBA thats ruled by speed and athleticism. Pau is gifted player but that ship has sailed especially since we got Dwight.
