I get the move but you can't beat DTLA. An arena on the Westside would suck and the experience probably would be expensive as f*ck. Build it on the other side of downtown.. by city hall, Little Tokyo, Arts District, or maybe Hollywood:ehh:

That Anaheim move would be cool but I think Honda center only seats 12,000 unlike Staples that seats 18,000. I think it would be a mistake for them to leave where they are at. But I get the fact when nikkas hear Staples they think Lakers

exactly. team hasn't done shyt to warrant a new building and 41 games a year (plus their usual early playoff exit) doesnt equal a new building. Ballmer and the crew want to get that concession, concert and event money that comes with having an area. But they don't think about the headaches associated with it.

fukkboy Clippers better stay right where they are because it's not like theyre the Yankees and would be taking a history of winning with them (and a contender) to a new building. So either go play in Anaheim of the Forum or enjoy being in the Lakers (past) shadow for eternity
