exactly. team hasn't done shyt to warrant a new building and 41 games a year (plus their usual early playoff exit) doesnt equal a new building. Ballmer and the crew want to get that concession, concert and event money that comes with having an area. But they don't think about the headaches associated with it.

fukkboy Clippers better stay right where they are because it's not like theyre the Yankees and would be taking a history of winning with them (and a contender) to a new building. So either go play in Anaheim of the Forum or enjoy being in the Lakers (past) shadow for eternity

Wtf does this mean.. Ballmer has billions. You sound furious if this were to happen. And Seattle and Anaheim ain't happening:umad:

you think that having billions means shyt in a city like LA when it took AEG 10+ years just to get the LA Live site developed. The only thing there previously was Staples Center, which was the first piece of the project. shyt, look at how much steam the Farmers Field thing got and that shyt is never happening now.

So where will the Clippers go if they cant get a prime location, because it's not like they can build 5 blocks from Staples Center. They are good right where they are.

Just play at the Honda center in Anaheim

Or moved to San Diego

They dont own the Honda Center,im sure the main reason they want there own arena is to be the primary tenant and own all the concessions.

LA is booming with development all over the city.. DTLA, Hollywood, Culver City, Santa Monica, Century City, new metro rail lines, etc. Its easier now than ten years ago. And money talks and bullsh*t walks. Rams owner Kronke got the team here and his stadium on tract in about a year and a half time. That 'hard to get a project off the ground in Cali' sh*t you're talking about went out the window years ago. And if its private money and no taxpayer dough like most of the sh*t that's being built now in LA then its a no brainer. You act like the top 1% don't get what they want:mindblown:

I am happy and sad about this, they are losers who are finally moving out of Staples but they do have cheap tickets and I go to some of their games to check out other teams. I don't want to drive to San Diego.
