Didnt orlando have to give draft picks for Van Gundy? I was under the assumption you have to give compensation when a coach is under contract. Or if the team ask for compensation of a fired coach.

I can't see KG being part of a rebuilding process in Boston with a new coach. If the NBA doesn't reconsider deal, I could see him retiring.

The Clippers are giving up at least one pick so that Boston will release Doc from his contract, plus i'm sure the Clippers contract had to be at least a certain amount to cover what the Celtics would of ended up paying Doc.


Paul Pierce could still manage to get to Clippers. KG has little to no shot of getting there. League is gonna be looking hard at any KG deal involving the Clippers.

Clippers can't complain too much seeing as how the league pretty much gave them Chris Paul.
