:russ:Even if Drake or Travis didn’t pop out. A Clipse album in 2025 isn’t doing numbers lol. And that’s coming from a fan.

How are you not gettin the point :dead:

There was no other real rap album supposed to drop most of July. NBA Youngboy droppin end of the month. No one else wit a real name droppin. Clipse had a lot of attention specially wit they rollout. Then Aubrey suddenly decided to promote his next shyt and Travis surprise drop the same time after all that shyt Push been talkin.

Clipse sales and debut would done much better if they ain't drop. Push last shyt debuted #1 on Billboard and he been real selective wit when he drop. Wasn't no one else really droppin that week he did def wasn't no Travis droppin singles or Aubrey promotin a album steppin they shyt.

This is hardly an impactful statement because most people predicted this, but this is their 3rd best album. It’s not better than their first two, but it’s better than their 3rd.
The bar was set so high with the first two that I can’t imagine them clearing those, so yeah, definitely not an indictment of this album to say that. Can’t wait to hear it for the first time on Friday.

Obviously not but they had a great rollout and numbers was gon be respectable. Then the jew peeped it and decided to promote his next album same time and Travis after all Push shots and interviews randomly decide he droppin same time. No one was expectin a Travis drop right now then he release some shyt to fukk wit Push release lol

If Clipse knew Aubrey and Travis was droppin ya think they'd still be? Hell nah but its too late to say no album now and they know those 2 gon take a lot of shine away and make sales look real bad
They don’t even have the same fan bases - Clipse fans expect rapping and bars. I don’t know what Travis fans expect but it’s definitely not rapping and bars :russ:

Aubrey ain’t even dropping that day either - he’s just on a promo run.

That being said, I do think Roc Nation did leak the album as part of the promo, leaking a low quality, unfinished version to get the hype up and get people to buy the retail when it drops on Friday. But the numbers are gonna do what they do. I don’t think they’re expecting to bring in any new fans from this - just maximise the sales from the fan base that they do have which is why they’ve been pushing the merch so hard. A lot of the merch seems to be sold out too so it looks like they’ve making a killing from it.
