Push’s flagrance has missed the counter balance of his brothers discernment and foresight about the lifestyle they talk about.… that's what made the Clipse so special lyrically ...it was always this thematic pendulum in motion between the two... The braggadocious brash almost reckless attitude of push being examined by the sage wisdom of malice.… so refreshing to hear that dynamic again... they killed that on this shyt.… incredible album.… I'd out it right under HHNF as their second best project :wow: Album of the year

Only 40 mins? It’s 2025 bro albums are short af these days. Lotta full albums way shorter than 40 mins. We ain’t getting hour long albums anymore. No one has that attention span
I agree with the point most albums are short, but I disagree that albums have to be that way just because Tik Tok has programmed people’s consumption habits.

In one breath they’ll tell you it’s about the culture, rap, and art. And in the next they’re making 90 second songs with 3 people on it because of programming.

The Clipse are from a golden generation of rap and haven’t been out in 15 years (together). Should’ve been at least an hour long album imo.

Just finished

This album is incredible. Absolutely INCREDIBLE.

And this is coming from someone who never really “got” the Clipse hype. Someone who thinks HHNF is overrated.

These nikkas spitting their ASSES off from the intro to the conclusion, they took not one hook, not one verse, not ONE bar off.

The features ALL showed up with their best. I’ve never listened to a Tyler The Creator album in my life…and this won’t change that but he absolutely impressed me on P.O.V. I never even knew he was capable of rapping like that.

Nas is Nas. He’s the GOAT and he’s been in rap God form these last 4 years so I wasn’t surprised at all that he ripped Chandeliers. The man has mastered rap in all of its forms.

Same thing for Kendrick. He’s the GOAT of his generation. I expected no less than a scene stealing performance and thats what he gave us.

Pharrell absolutely LACED this album from top to bottom. I don’t wanna hear another word about Chad from anybody ever again. P NEVER needed him to be one of the greatest producers who ever lived and he just proved it with this. nikkas saying else just bytches who can’t accept black excellence.

Malice is a top tier MC. He just has “it” when it comes to his writing. Push is a top tier MC too and I liked all three of his solo albums, but Malice is just special, his shyt hits different.

I liked So Be It Part 2. I have no idea why everybody is up in arms about it. I ran it back twice to make sure I wasn’t tripping and its dope to me and not in that “its cool but i’ll probably skip it when I run through the album two weeks from now” dope. It fits the album for me. I was reading on here that some people are saying Part 1 is replacing Part 2 on subsequent listens and if true I hope they include Part 2 as a bonus or something because I fukk with it.

Overall this is a 4.5/5 and definitely Album of The Year so far. I’ll be bumping this all summer.
Man go listen to b*stard and then the odd future mixtapes at least then work your way up. Tyler can rap bro and has a catalog

Not kad at thisl especially in the context of them being gone for so long.

But overall I almost never wanna hear anything over 50 mins. get in and get out, keep it brief and concise. I'd rather a solid 40-50 mins that's airtight with no filler. I just don't want to wait another 15 years for the next one.

I complain a fair amount about overly short songs BTW.

Nah. That was a personal ode to their parents. Nobody needed to be rapping on that but them. That would be like putting Raekwon on Dance or Beanie Sigel on 4:44

I dig it.

That was tough, made me think about my parents.
