He was just in the middle of the battle
Off first listen, it reminds me of TTCD more than anything else, but it could have been worse
Thanks, dap and a rep. I ordered the digital copy (It had the OG So Be It). So I missed hearing this one.
Yeah I still like that album, its just flawed compared to the other 2.Took me way too long to know what you were referring to
But that’s a good comp. That’s not a bad album at all, but the bar when you have production from Pharrell/Neptunes/Kanye is sky high.
Re: the bolded it's crazy how many Clipse songs that start with Push. On HHNF Push raps first on 11 out of the 12 songs. The last song Nightmares I think is the only one that starts with Malice.Thoughts after first listen:
-It’s good, but not great like HHNF or Almost Dry
-Barfest. A lot of quotables and tracks I’ll need another listen
-Malice > Pusha. On this project at least. Most of the quotables seem they came from Malice.
-I hate to admit it, but this needed Kanye. Pharrell didn’t knock me over like he did on HHNF, and def not like Kanye (and him) did on Almost dry.
-Pharrel’s singing sounded a lil out of place at times.
-Could have used some switching up, the formula was the same: Pusha starting off every track, doing every hook. Would have liked a solo track from each of them
-Nas dikkeaters wont admit it but his verse was meh. Kendrick’s was![]()

Yeah. Makes you wonder why rap still tries to cater to the youth market.Crazy all the best rap projects are dropping from nikkas in their 40’s and 50s
