Crazy all the best rap projects are dropping from nikkas in their 40’s and 50s
Somehow people are convinced that rap is a young man's game, like it's a sport or something. You don't see other genres discarding their greats because they're older, they're revered. And considering that rap is in itself not that old as other genres we finally got some OG's in the genre.

Stove MURDERS that chorus

Honestly this the most important feature on the album. The others cool to different degrees and Kendrick really went off, but Clipse rhymed at such a high level you delete any outside verses and it's still an elite display of rapping start to finish. But the Stove chorus could not be replicated by them.

I got this shyt on repeat, might actually be an immaculate album. Gets better with each listen

The dedication to economy and precision and not wasting any bars is crazy. Not that every single bar hit, but the success rate way up there. Even the most talented rappers usually got a few throwaway verses or even a couple throwaway tracks, even on their best albums. Including previous Clipse albums. But there's almost no waste on this from a spitting perspective.

Chains and Whips gives me a "No Church in the Wild" vibe. Maybe the rhythm in the beat. I'm still trying to rank the Clipse albums myself and not sure where to put this one yet. I need to give it some more spins.

I couldn't put my finger on it but you hit it exactly

In that interview with them and Pharell Malice says that he dreams one day they'll all be back recording with Chad Hugo again, which A) was very heartfelt B) means he wants to continue making more music and C) they're gonna make an effort to make ammends with Chad.

I don't think Clipse has any issues with Chad. That whole "P is Saturn" line wasn't a diss. Pharell probably wouldn't have issues with Chad either if he wasn't suing him. Sounds like some shyt only Canadien fakkits do :mjpls:

Pusha has probably had the least amount of producers he's worked with of any 20 year plus rapper

P
Ye
DJ Khalil
88 Keys

That's pretty much it on his albums solo and Clipse :dead:

He said he prefers the weirder, different pocket style of beats, I hope we get that Madlib album, or even an EP one day.
So Be it (glad they fixed that) reminds me of madlib I thought about it the other day

In one of those interviews Malice says he runs into Chad in VA all the time and it's all love
