My Ngga…you are bugging.

First and foremost Pusha confirmed that even tho HHNF was credited to Neptunes, Pharrell did that dolo :scusthov:

So that COMPLETELY destroys your and many folks feelings on Pharrell solo.

Also Neptunes been broken up damn 20 years. You sitting here with a straight face and saying Pharrell hasn’t been elite in 29 years?!! :dahell:

P
harrell has Alright :dahell: , Move that dope, Feds watching, oceans, the utterly disgusting tracks from Almost Dry…and my favorite moment from Pharrell is when I found out he made Mr Morale. Not to mention the cross over stuff, the ngga made Happy. Brother he is goated.

Pharrell has bot been a solo producer for 29 years. Cut the bull. He's been solo since like 2006.NOTHING he's done since then is elite. And no Hell Hath No Fury is not enough to catapult him into conversations with Dre. Even still, The Neptunes aren't up there with Dre either. Not in Hip Hop. If you want to talk music overall, then I'd argue The Neptunes>>>> Dre. Strictly Hip Hop? No.

That "Mr. Morale' song is one of the weaker songs from that album. Of everything of the past 10 years from Pharrell solo, only "Alright" is elite.

you my boy meach

But if you life depended on it. You would struggle to name 5 records between all those albums 😂
I’m not saying any of them are classics(although i REALLY fukks with the xzibit album)

But in 2025 all of them were supposed to be washed and they dropped decent to good albums, better than any of their contemporaries imo.

This is like Bron and steph still showing out against the young dudes.

It’s obvious they lost a step, but head to head with the young dudes you can’t deny how skilled/dominant they still are

I’m talking straight technical stuff, flow, wordplay, etc. I’ve always felt push was better.

Even on this album i think that holds true.

Malice is the older bro. Has always held that space of being more thoughtful and mature.

For me, that didn’t resonate as much back in the day.

As an adult now, his perspective exactly what i need to hear as a grown ass man looking for grown ass rap.

I think Push is talented, but he hasn’t grown at all. Malice is the perfect balance of street shyt, but from a mature and grounded perspective. :ehh:
IMO Push outraps Malice on one song on this new album and it's MTBTTF

Push I think has more flows and delivery styles, but I think Malice has the better pen of the 2.

Good album. Wish most of the production wasn't so many of the abstract Kanye type beats. I understand it's modern and artsy, but I would love to hear some of the big gritty "Popular Demand" type beats or some the glorious Rick Ross type production. Or even some traditional Hiphop East Coast or Down South beats. I'm a old beatmaker turned DJ. I love slipping the Clipses in on a set. I might be able to slip one or two in early one night. But it's still a really good album, i hope they win a lot of awards. Just wish the beats were more diverse.

And i'm not a hater, man a day 1 Clipse fan. I was living in Norfolk in 2001. Remember seeing Pusha rolling up and down Tidewater drive in a Silver CL or SL benz. I remember with when they filmed "When was the Last Time" video in Va Beach.
