Damm mafukkas really like the beat for Chains & Whips?:ohhh:

I fukking hate that beat.

Chains & Whips and Inglorious b*stards the only 2 beats I don't like. I hate Chains & Whips way more.

F.I.C.O. and By The Grace of God(minus Pharrell singing)hard as fukk.

N.I.N.

It's always the loudmouths that can't count:comeon:
The right price, I put the AR in the saint's mouth (talk about it) :whoa:
Bring all the watches and the chains out:demonic:
Heat come, I'm De Niro, I got the safe house :yeshrug:
(This is culturally inappropriate)
Surrounded by nikkas with tears that don't drip :demonic:
(Talk about it)
That ain't the ghost that you appear to go get :birdman:
Finally got the courage but you still a whole bytch
The rest of y'all on my six year ago shyt
Every move intentional, the links is atypical
Like baseball in D.R., you know what the stick'll do
(This is culturally inappropriate)
We got the drop on your shadow :sas1:
You know we can get to you :sas2:
The pen to express my dreams and expertise
And TEC's I squeeze
Coke spots all over like leprosy:leon:
It's a dark spirit tucked behind the flesh you see :damn:

Whips and chains is severe. The beat Inglorious b*stards sounds like Pharrell's cat walking over his casio.

They’re not the GOATs but they’re up there - in order it goes:

Rae and Ghost
Mobb
Clipse

Rae and Ghost is not an official duo, but I’m gonna let you go ahead and cook. That’s like saying Jada and Styles, who have more back to back joints than Rae and Ghost.

The correct order is:

Mobb Deep
Outkast
Clipse

Never got the need for fans to try to force artists into discussions. Are the Clipse great? Yes. Are they a GOAT duo? No. You're onlybgoing to turn people off listening to them doing that. Why? If someone thinks hihhly of a Mobb Deep, Kast, or any duo considered GOAT and they go into a Clipse album expecting the music to be at that level or better, they would be disappointed. Let the music breathe and speak for itself.

And when I see comparisons to Mobb, Kast, or even UGK, its like people take for granted what those groups brough to the table. Mobb Deep never had a Pharrell or Chad because Havoc was that to Mobb Deep. Same goes for Kast becuase they produced a lot of their own music after the first two albums starting with the second. They were singing their own hooks and playing instruments. UGK had Pimp C who produced, singing hooks, and playing instruments.

Originally planned for a 2024 release, the album was delayed when the duo's then-label Def Jam Recordings and its parent company Universal Music Group demanded Kendrick Lamar's guest verse be either censored or removed. Although the official reason given to Clipse was that the label was worried about blowback from United States President Donald Trump due to the lyrics, Pusha T publicly claimed in interviews that he believed the real reason to be both his and Lamar's public feuds with rapper Drake, resulting in the release of multiple diss tracks; in 2025, Drake filed a lawsuit against Universal for its publication of Lamar's diss "Not Like Us". Pusha T added that his music had been censored multiple times since 2018 over what Def Jam perceived to be lyrics about Drake. Refusing to censor the verse, Clipse agreed to pay a seven-figure sum to be dropped from the deal, signing a distribution deal with Roc Nation instead but giving Def Jam a percentage of the profits from the album.

From the wiki on the album.

It sucks they went through this.

Def Jam in 2025 is not the epmd Def Jam I respected.

This the first album I bought in a long time, Last time I bought an Album I was trying to help 50 cent win the album Sales battle against Kanye West... I felt so stupid afterwards .. CURTIS was straight GARBAGE!...Nyggas enjoying that GOOD ass music on Kanye West's side

:russ:

I was never a clipse fan, but I always fcked with them off the strength of them being real spitters. I Even got Kendrick's album Bootleg from a Nygga on the Coli , but I HAD to support these brothas this go round..

Skill wise I think you can put them up there, but I feel like they need two more albums to REALLY put themselves up there.
