I'm not even disappointed in the Nas verse. My only letdown with the song is that Nas wasn't rhyming over vintage Neptunes/Pharrell beats. I was expecting something like "Brambleton" instead it sounds like a solo outtake from one of the KD albums. Not a bad thing. Just not what I expected.
U capping lol

You do not like that verse

Started here

i think this is one of the dumbest career blunders ever.

his fanbase is pretty much 35 and up. This is not Kodak and his 21year old fanbase who don’t give a damn. 35 and up care wayyyyy more. i can’t speak for everyone but I instantly stop fukking with him completely after that

Man…on all 4 of the Clipse albums, Malice only raps the first verse on 6 songs, total. Grace of God. Nightmares. Young Boy. Cot Damn. Ego. Comedy Central. That’s it. Every other song on all of their albums and soundtrack joints start off with Push on the 1st verse. There’s not a single song on Casket Drops where Malice goes first.
He don’t do the hooks either right?

Thoughts after first listen:

-It’s good, but not great like HHNF or Almost Dry

-Barfest. A lot of quotables and tracks I’ll need another listen

-Malice > Pusha. On this project at least. Most of the quotables seem they came from Malice.

-I hate to admit it, but this needed Kanye. Pharrell didn’t knock me over like he did on HHNF, and def not like Kanye (and him) did on Almost dry.

-Pharrel’s singing sounded a lil out of place at times.

-Could have used some switching up, the formula was the same: Pusha starting off every track, doing every hook. Would have liked a solo track from each of them

-Nas dikkeaters wont admit it but his verse was meh. Kendrick’s was :ohlawd:

Nas bodied that shyt your buggin
