Waiting for the album...
...yet I'm hating this rollout.

The Travis ish and now Kendricks verse dropping. Esprcially knowing a good portion of people were waiting for that alone, just to see what cost them the Def Jam deal (that story is still wild to me).

While they don't have a lot, their discography is solid, so I know they won't disappoint. I just hate that when artist feel like they have nothing to offer promo wise, selling 'beef' becomes the only alternative.

It's smart to get it all out of the way now so when the album drops, the music can speak for itself.

I feel the opposite. I equate it to a movie trailer that reveals entirely too much, to the point that when you go see the movie it no longer has the same impact of having experienced it for the first time.

Music is being released at an insane rate, which is giving people less time to actually sit and digest it.

I understand them having to market and advertise, especially after leaving a major, yet that's the main reason this should have been kept hidden until release, drive up anticipation.

All this right here.
