I’m glad you said. I love The Clipse and Re-Up Gang and so much of their work was based on flipping Biggie and Bad Boy flows. People get dumb when you mention it tho.
Lost of north east influence I’ve always loved that about Clipse’s style

Me too. As a DMV bruh I have always loved them. They’re originally from NYC right? But from VA. They flipped the script on the NY dealers who used to run in VA. Now they rap better than the NY nikkas. Lol.

I really like this, but I think you have to already be a Clipse fan to like it. It sounds like an extenstion of the GOOD Music era Pusha sound but with Malice and Pharrell putting their twist on it. I think its dope

Just finished it:

I thought I was going to be disappointed starting out:

-I like "The Birds Don't Sing" but halfway don't cause it sound too generically dramatic.

-I fukking hate "Chains and Whips." The beat sounds like the most 2010 Euro Hov shyt ever. :scust:

-P.O.V. Caught me off guard. I had to pull out my phone on look at who that was rapping. Tyler sound the best he ever has. I have hated every verse but this. He kinda sound like LL or some shyt.

-F.I.C.O. Is fire.:wow:

-Inglorious b*stards is wack.:camby:

-The rest I like except Pharrell fukking up "By The Grace Of God" with that wack ass hook.:scusthov:

-Nas verse was kinda same ole generic Nas sounding.:patrice:

Good album overall tho.

Might be my #3 of the year behind the 2 Hus Kingpin's "Threesome 5 and Threesome 5.5.

Best press of the whole run - no narrative’s, just Clipse and Pharrell discussing the music.

Love that Pharrell was on this as well cause he makes the Clipse the group that they are in my opinion - he’s basically the third member. The two classics that they do have in LW and HHNF, his presence is all over the records, not just in terms of production but adlibs, hooks, bridges, etc.

But this was dope to watch because you can really see that between the three of them, they know what really makes each other tick.
