Damn, so you missed the 6 (!) albums Nas dropped the last couple of years: the King's Disease and Magic trilogies? You missed out on some classic material.

Damn it’s 6? I thought he did 3 with Hit Boy. I’ve heard really good things. I’ll get on them soon. I have to.

Great album

It tapers off in the second half for me with 3 tracks I’m not feeling (EBITDA, Inglorious b*stards, So Far Ahead) but that first 7 track streak is ridiculous

Kendrick killed it as usual but That Tyler verse is the real guest standout to me

He is doing his own genius annotations
Was just thinking about that last night, thinking it was a nice bar, but questioning the truth of it. Now I’m like :whoo::ohhh::to:

What a way to close the intro, and tribute to their parents :sadcam:

People really not liking Inglorious b*stards?

Literally sounds like someone downloaded an album and added a Clue posse freestyle in the middle of their version before burning it to CD. Legit sounds like it could’ve been a loosie on a Clue tape, from the ad libs and drops to the loosely structured song format, and I love it.

I'm a Clipse fan and an even bigger fan of Pharrel. I gave this a couple listens last night and it's just okay. The standout tracks are basically the ones that had hype prior to the release. But overall, a pretty forgettable project. Not bad in any way-- but there's nothing here to get people too excited.

Shared you with my friends, the Pops they never had
You lived for our fishin' trips, damn, I had a dad
Mine taught discipline, mine taught structure
Mine didn't mind when he had to pull a double
Mine worked overtime, smiled through the struggle
'Cause mine wouldn't let us feel what he had to suffer
See, mine made sure he had every base covered
So imagine his pain findin' base in the cupboard

I have actually ran it back a couple times since my post only 15 minutes ago and I’m vibing with it more compared of the first couple listens lol
