I’m late af to this but the album is damn near perfect. I forgot how much malice balances pusha out. I’ve always preferred push over malice tho, always thought his flow was too constrained while push would be playin hop scotch on beats, dancing in and out of pockets. Big bro reeled his ass in on every song. I appreciate the rap cadence homage to nore,big,guru and jay too, u even had Tyler payin respects to push a lil.

Tyler really went in. He might have had the best drug flip bar on the whole album, which is crazy to think.

I'm late to the thread (and listening to the album) so I got like 200 pages to go lol so I'm not tryna go backwards to find the post but, the sentiment of it was that the instrumentation aspect of beat making is the hardest part and that's what Chad brought to the table and that's why he will be so missed on this project. And I'm honestly not trying to diss but I really was genuinely surprised at how many posters were bringing him up and acting like Chad not being involved would somehow lessen the quality of the beats, but if you think about it Clipse biggest song is Grindin and to this day a fan favorite and it's pretty minimalist when it comes to the beat. Its constructed from like 5 simple sounds. I'm only 5 tracks in but so far it seems like one Hugo dont stop the show.

Chad isn’t missed at all.

His pen is vicious, these rappers are lucky he gave his life up to God. After I'm done listening to this album I'm going back through the catalog and reliving the greatness, I wish the Re Up series was on streaming.
