Before we we even got to that point…mans came out the gate wrong with “now that the hype has worn down” :mjlol:

@Braman you definitely speaking for yourself with that one.

Lol What I mean is every album has a newness and excitement where folk can be blinded and can’t rate it accurately. Every song appears to be their new favorite of all time :heh: Nggas throw out ‘classic’:snoop:

For me that period ends after a week…for some it’s longer. But trust me after a month or so you’ll see. Dope album, but Pharrell didn’t blow me away pause. I can’t help but compare it to It’s Almost Dry and it didn’t reach that level

finally giving this a listen

i’m just now realizing that Push thruout his career has always had some dope hooks

that mtbttf hook is so fkking hard:whew:
not even gonna get into the bars cause thats self explanatory

Pusha is one of the few rappers who can still craft catchy hooks without singing. Super underrated skill.

so i’m kinda confused about this still
but
was dot verse before the beef or after

cause its alotta foreshadowing in the verse
espcially
Cause of the GEN rhyme scheme as well as the car wordplay at the end of his verse (GNX):ohhh:

Push last album was better imo.

The beats and hooks are hit or miss on this.

Now that the hype has worn down…..

Classic songs: FICO

Elite: Whips and Chains, EBITDBA, All things considered

Very good: So Be It

Good: Inglorious b*stards, Ace Trumpets, POV, Birds Don’t Sing…Its hard to make a John legend song that doesn’t sound forced. His voice is just so cliche.

Aight: MTBDTF, Let God Sort em Out/Chandeliers

I’m probably gonna skip: So Far Ahead, By the Grace of God…Pharrell’s ear failed him a few times on this album. The bridge/hook on far ahead is a lil cringey. Grace of God feels forced

All n all my first listen remains true, the production was good but not great. Malice insane bars. Pusha was kinda hit or miss. Good album….Almost Dry clears easily

shut the fukk up

Between "Daytona", "It's Almost Dry" and now "Let God Sort Em Out". Pusha has been on a pretty dope album run these last 7 years. But I liked the album. Short and sweet. Consistent production from Pharrell. "So Be It" is just too hard. But good features with Esco and Dot and Malice still got it too. Can't believe it's been 15 years since the last album. I'll never forget seeing "The Funeral" video from them being like "Who is this" and then album got shelved. Then "Lord Wilin' dropped. But good for them for getting back together and dropping a nice album.
