Longtime Booth posters may recall that I've said for YEARS, these dudes have a Top 5 mixtape series in rap history, with the We Got It 4 Cheap series. Lyrically elite and just iconic spitting throughout, with very few blemishes...

Their albums never hit as hard as the tapes, but they had plenty of drops on the albums. The tapes are what cemented them as legends though, We Got It 4 Cheap is in the same GOAT series tier as Fab's Soul Tapes; Wayne's Dedications; and who else? Them joints were like that...

This Tiny Desk wasnt all that (so many better songs they could done!), but its good to see these nikkas getting they flowers!

It's always nice to see the legends doing their thing on there. Dude banging on the table for "Grindin'" was definitely needed. We all used to bang on the lunchroom table and do that beat, lol.

a lot of it was done through computer, so to be done through precision is harder for a live performance.


it was still nice to see how push and malice sound exactly the same live as they do on studio
