None of this makes sense. Obviously Kendrick didnt want to clear it. Otherwise he couldve given another verse. UMG has control over kendrick content like that? Doubtful

Mind your kendrick is still throwing shots so the whole antagonism schtick doesnt work either.

That's not how it works. Pusha has spent months saying they were waiting on one thing to finish the album. We assumed it was Kendrick but turns out it was someone else (likely Jay or Nas). If you read the GQ article it makes it clear the Kendrick shyt was finished months ago, there were no issues so no reason to assume he was holding up a clearance.

Nobody gets dropped a few months after signing a deal unless the label goes through a complete management rebuild (didn't happen) or some type of legal issue/controversy like sexual assault (didn't happen). There is zero reason to believe they got dropped. If you sign the Clipse in 2024 you aren't expecting sales or hits. Pusha bringing back a Kendrick and Hov feature would be welcome by any label in this situation...unless the drama was coming from a third party who likes to sue people and had been crying for months.
thats on def jam, not drake. Drake is gonna do what he’s gonna do.

Pusha would blame Drake for solar eclipses if he could.

See Pusha loves doing shyt like this.

Wild speculation. You're just as bad as the hip hop media throwing sh*t at the wall until it sticks.

Dot hasn't dissed Drake since NLU but y'all want so bad for every time he starts popping it for it to be about Drake.

War is war, right?

Drake is thinking…Yall gave the man awards, performances, and commercials…cool, I’m using whatever I’ve got left to step on you.

Now, you dont have to agree. And I have problems with a lot of stuff Drake has done and continues to do from a strategic standpoint...

…but if you wanted him to do NOTHING, then say that.
I asked you a simple question. Please answer or don't respond.

i doubt Kendrick said anything about Drake on the record. But the optics of Drakes two biggest opps being on a song would give Drakes team ammunition for their lawsuit. I understand why def jam did this. Not that I agree with it.

Drake learned from Jay-Z. I’ll leave that there.

LL Cool J to this day doesn’t fukk with Hov for a reason. Budden either. 50 either. Theres a reason...

Drake didn't learn shyt from Jay, who leveraged his success into actual power/position within the label. Drake stuck in a deal he doesn't like, has to drop a project yearly and does a half assed tour yearly because he doesn't have control of his career.
:mjlol:

Your boy out here pimping gambling apps because he's too stupid to prioritize more lucrative traditional deals for someone of his stature.
