Why are these labels trying to die for Drake? Dude hasn’t had a number 1 in years. His music is microwaved garbage at this point and the albums sound the same. Why take yourself out with the trash?

Because he's still making money for them somehow. They can't have a valuable asset feel like he doesn't matter.

Don't be surprised if one day, Drake goes too far and makes himself unprofitable. Then you might see a New York Times/Vanity Fair article weeks afterwards about how some women (possibly famous) insinuate that Drake made them feel uncomfortable back in the day.
