These sales didn't say all that especially considering the push, Travis did triple that without a real album and less of a push. Congrats to Clipse though, great album.
:childplease: This Clipse are nearly 50 years old and haven’t had a huge hit since I was ditching classes in college back in 02.. nikka please this is huge considering theyve been gone for almost 20

Well deserved tbh

nikkas had a full roc nation roll out. They've literally been on damn near every platform.

Can you name the last time a prominent rapper gave an ask me anything on reddit?

The album is great but idk why we've went from acknowledging how great this rollout is to trying to act like the marketing was non-existent.

Full bundles. Collabs with KAWS. Rollout dissing Travis, Kanye and Drake. Rollout hyping up the Kendrick verse and how controversial it would be.

They had an insane push. But that doesn't detract from how great the work is which is everlasting

Exactly. This rollout is the kind of shīt that other artists need to now beg their labels for even tho the label will change them up the ass for it.

But these dudes got an amazing press run and one can only hope it continues these next couple of weeks into the tour.

Idc the last 23 years he been better. I don’t think it’s debatable

thats a huge sample size. nas living off the past. Pusha putting up buckets now

that age/era shyt ain’t gonna hit the same

Nas only 4 years older
23 years so 02?

fam Nas has 5 projects better than any pusha project in that time outside of daytona which would be equal level. they are not like items

puhsa could never dream to make Life is Good or Kd2. he just cant rap about things like that

:russ:Them having success and real hip hop being back because they sold what they did are two different things. I would enjoy more rap like this having success but Pluto and BunnaB having the biggest songs of the summer is telling me real hip hop ain't back yet :mjlol:

Nas albums was independent. That's number 1. This album has the most popular artist out right now on it which def helps. On top of that. This isn't a Pusha album it's a CLIPSE album. They promoted it masterfully. They had bundles. They had drama with Drake and Travis. It's was a lotta eyes on this project and it was a great project. What did Pusha's last solo effort sell? Lol. This nikka always bringing Nas up. shyt is weird man.

Very weird. Distracting from a clipse thread to push his obsession with Nas. I guess since jay isn’t putting out music, hating on Nas is all that loser has left.

Bundles skew stats. Happy for clipse though, album of the year so far to me.
