I don’t know what music sales numbers mean anymore, but this is dope…..I suppose.

Now that we are on the subject, how do artists make money now? Especially producers who can’t tour?

Touring. Money hasn't been in "record sales" for a long while now.

Producers make money off production. I know it's an overly simple answer but they can output music a lot faster than rappers.

Any specific artist comes to mind?

Pharrell on this album. Hit Bot on the six album run that Nas did.

How much is a typical album budget these days? How much are producers charging per track?

How does Mass Appeal make money?

I have no idea about the economy of the music biz post streaming.

ay @hex The same people in here who bailed on those Drake threads that proved they were manipulating streams are now in here upset at "bundles"

Same posters... :mjlol:

At some point Drake stans just gotta roll up their sleeves and actually listen to the new music he puts out.

Not talk about Kendrick or The Clipse or Jay-Z or Roc Nation or Drake's Spotify streams from his old music.

"What Did I Miss" is projected to drop out of the Billboard top 20 by August 2nd because they'd rather do all this other sh*t instead of just supporting Drake.

“ “LET GOD SORT EM OUT” sold 118,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release and it also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart, No. 2 on the Top Rap Albums chart and debuted at No. 4 overall on the Billboard 200 chart. It marked the group’s best first week since their debut album, Lord Willin’, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2002.”
