The Mormon hatred of the Feds is longer and deeper than the Mormon hatred of blacks. And the craziest part of it is that, if Bundy is so cheap that he won't pay what he's legally obligated to pay, I wonder what he isn't paying to the Temple. The only thing Mormons hate more than the Feds is a cheap member who doesn't pay their contractually obligated 10 percent every year.

The Paiute Indians of Nevada were forced into reservations by federal troops in 1875 – two years after the tribe had been promised the same land where Cliven Bundy now grows melons and grazes cattle.

That last part is the kicker, even moreso than the truth about his lies about ancestral claims.

In sum: people talk shyt about CACs here, but Cliven Bundy is the real deal. Everything about him truly is the definition of #inherently. He can't die off soon enough. Cliven Davis is not fighting that fight. He has no fight. He is the wrong figurehead for that fight. He's just an old white man used to being the patriarch of a large family in a town which is (not)(so)jokingly referenced as Bundyville. He's used to having things his way, like one of those preachers or fake prophets in the black community who decide that whatever they want at the moment is a directive from God. He wants to graze his cattle (using illegal labor? who knows) on public lands without paying the privilege for it, therefore in his mind that is the right of the matter and to hell with the law.

He holds up the Constitution when it suits him, and then burns it, also when it suits him.

He wraps himself in the US flag (not the Nevada flag), while declaring the US government invalid and non-existent.

He is depending upon a form of squatter's rights, for himself. No word from him on the Government and the Paiute's continued legal battles. He drapes it in a romantic sounding but factually hollow claim of ancestral rights.

He is not fighting for individual rights or economic rights, only the right for him as Patriarch to continue to do what the fukk he wants to do, because he wants it so.

Those who follow him are fools. That's #truth.

The Feds handled it for 20 years through the courts. Cliven lost every case. The Feds were in the right to confiscate property to force restitution -- which is what happens to everyone else. The ONLY thing Cliven is upset about is that his balls and father-figurehood were metaphorically cut off. Cliven is an old man used to getting what he wants, for as long as he wants, because he is Patriarch. He's Big Daddy in his tiny corner of the world.

He encouraged others to come to his little corner and point guns at Feds, and said nothing when a supporter, when this happened:
