I think that if companies or critical services don't use backup 1, backup 2, and backup 3 contingencies in the future, all they're doing is courting disaster when one central location, such as AWS or Cloudflare, gets attacked. It might be expensive to do it, but if you have hundreds of thousands to millions customers, then it's worth it lmao.
Stuff like this will keep happening. IT is still lacking in hundreds of companies. I'm sure some guys will tell the guys making decisions but they'll be like how MUCH? We'll be alright on this one service.
Cyberwarfare is going to be crazy in the future, because so much shyt will be on the cloud. We'll still have many top secret shyt on closed internal only network though, that won't change.
