avxl is still sore how clowney obliterated his team in 2011 and 2012. hell im not sure georgia ran a single running play his way last year. he was clearly the best defensive player in college football in 2012 and then the gamecocks lost half their defense and teams decided to run away from him, double team him and go with a quick passing game to try and neutralize him. the one problem he had last year is he let guys out of his grasp or overran potential sacks otherwise his numbers would have been near last year's and this notion that he wasnt playing hard would have never existed.

if he gets singled up on running plays youre going to see him explode into the backfield multiple times every game in a similar fashion. he probably disrupted more plays in the running game than he did as a pass rusher starting with the michigan game where teams were doubling him up just about every pass play.
