Just realized bellator signed Kimbo's son Kevin Ferguson Jr too and he was supposed to make his debut last month as a pro. Baby Slice is 1-0 as an amateur and also fights at 170. Baby Slice vs CM Punk could be good for the fukkery
If I was Bellator I'd let Punk get his record up by fighting cans. Then, I'd sign him to fight low-level guys.

Yeah that shyt shoulda been over. It was quick, but it surprised me that Punk was able to defend the onslaught and not get put away immediately, cuz dude was a fish out of water.

Anyone else think dude mentally locked up? He seemed pretty tight after his trainer hugged him and he went into the octagon. I can't ever remember seeing a fighter slowly walk to his corner cheesing to the crowd instead of bouncing around and staying loose. You can't ground your energy and get ready if you're that tight. Then he stiffly and robotically rushed in and even though Mickey shot for the takedown, Punk didn't seem like he really wanted to land the punch he threw or have any rhyme or reason for throwing it, aside from having to do something because the bell rang. It seemed like even someone who never trained before but has been in a fight would square up instead of just rushing in awkwardly and praying you hit something. Inexperience is inexperience but dude's basic instincts were way off.

Not exactly. Rousey came in thinking shed roll over on Holm like she does everyone else and got embarassed. Her being a dominant champion and takingba pretty good boxer in Holly Holm lightly was extremely stupid. Holly made Ronda look like an amateur. Punk IS an amateur. Punk was outclassed from the jump. It was an asswhooping but it wasnt as bad as someone in his position could have gotten. Gall essentially gave him a mercy killing.Come the fukk on..he got beat up as bad as Ronda didIn even lesser time
Dont get me wrong it was a marvel to see but nowhere near as bad as it could/should have been.
