I doubt they do the return at Survivor Series, but the reaction to the expectation of him showing up will gauge how much the fans want him back in the WWE and then you're most likely scenario would be the Rumble

he'll probably be in the building at Survivor Series and they'll fake leak it like when he turned up at Raw

Swear to go if Punk does go to WWE, but with his recent injury history, tears a quad like Nash did... it would be a sign that the Universe is a cruel, funny place... because Punk is about the same age Nash was, maybe a bit older, when Nash returned to WWE and then just wasn't the same person.
