But that dude was definitely a major talent both in the ring and on the mic. If you deny that, you're kidding yourself. And if he ever came back to WWE (which he almost certainly won't), the pop would be ungodly.
Yeah he'll probably lose when he fights, but this dude gets my props for even trying MMA at his age. He's puttin' in work, he's getting paid, and he's a draw already without ever stepping into the octagon. No hate from me.

He doesn't deserve props for trying to fight at his current age because he doesn't stand a chance. Plus we're talking about someone that wrestled for 15 years and was constantly on the road for several years. He's in far worse shape than the average 37 year old and doesn't stand a chance competing with people much younger than him who have MMA as their first passion.
The part about him being a draw before entering the octagon makes all his talk of part timers stealing the spotlight from younger talent hypocritical in hindsight.
