According to Komen's 2011–2012` IRS form 990 declarations, then-CEO Nancy Brinker made $684,717 in that fiscal year, a 64 percent raise. Komen stated the last CEO salary hike had taken place in November 2010. While Charity Navigator continued to give Komen very favourable overall ratings on the basis of figures Komen had declared to the IRS, Charity Navigator president and CEO Ken Berger described this remuneration as "extremely high".

We have to understand again what real power is and how to slowly (and sometimes quickly) build to obtain it. It's not going to come by every Black kid wanting super expensive sneakers to jump in a ubersaturated pool to be basketball stars or learning the most creative way to kill men and pimp women to be rappers.
It is about taking a moral stance based on understanding facts and building each other up to fight the real enemies: not Whites, but the corrupt ones they support. Do get that cred, we have to work to get at their level, with businessmen and women and build each other up to be independent to battle their beliefs, while having our own personalities. That was the beauty of old New Orleans and Black Renaissance NYC. We took aspects of the dominant culture and made them our own, better, or took the weight off our lives breaking bread with them.
And we do know that at least Michelle Bachmann has never worked an honest day in her life, but had yearly got 100K+ just for inheriting her parents' land.
