Punk is pushing 40 with a limited background in BJJ and zero MMA training. Unless he wants to sign up for The Ultimate Fighter or is planning a one off against a bum opponent (which Dana White will never agree to) I doubt this will amount to anything.

Sounds more like another case of a pro wrestler trying to live out their midlife crisis MMA fantasy without actually getting inside the octagon to me.
