I don't think it even matters if he wins or loses, what matters most is if he looks like he has any business being there. If he loses but still fought a decent fight, that's impressive enough as it is. If he gets taken out with a jab to the jaw ten seconds in, whelp, it's a different story.

Definitely true. Most dudes ain't built like he seems to be. He seems to really gives no fukks about what anyone thinks/feels if it's not in his best interests AND sticks to his personal moral sense of right and wrong regardless of how it looks from the outside.
I definitely see him holding out on a return forever if he doesn't feel like the wrong that was done to him isn't made right.
